horrible .. first i wasn’t provided traditional training . i got thrown in with a very large and overwhelming pipeline immediately with no management support.. once my team got a manger, instead of training and helping, i was constantly micromanaged, questioned, and was basically told i wasn’t doing good enough .. i logged in each day with fear and dread of what was to come ..you are told to work one loan at a time, meanwhile getting hammered constantly with phone calls, emails, skype chats, all simultaneously with members or co workers wanting you to help them at the drop of the hat..i was never able to utilize my pto due to having an overwhelming pipeline .. i was truly disappointed in the experience i had with usaa because i was led to believe differently i am on a process to be hired, after 2 phone interviews, 2 panel interviews, i am still waiting to hear back back, this process now has been on the second month, march 5. first interview, march 7 second interview, april 6 final two interviews, i was told that the results will be after two weeks on the final interview, we are on april 25 and o haven’t heard back, my status still is interviewing since i believe no background has been done yet, the position in question is computer system engineer- mid level, why does it take so long? i believe if i was not considered they won’t spent all this time interviewing me and also won’t spent 90 minutes on the final interview too. hired on in 2017 it took about a month. then i was offered the job the same day as the in person interview. im not to worried yet as it took a little over 4 weeks before i received the first call last time!!
i am in a similar situation that was out of my control but the ball is now in my court so i am paying the debt to keep the job offer. good luck to everyone! up to $10k a year in education reimbursement, the group health plan is a little costly, they pay half the premium, same with dental. on site gym membership is free, work at home employees get up to $300 reimbursed. if you want to fit in there, just spout a bunch of positive-thinking nonsense and they’ll love it. there are no sick days, but there is ample paid time off to accommodate people.
