i recall in my youth i got my first sports books about different kinds of sports and training, many of them from the former east germany, which at the time was a super power in the international sports arena despite being a small country with a population less than many of the megalopolises in the world. in this book, it was mentioned that he had gathered information from a former east german sports medicine expert about the training of the top swimmers in that part of germany. the workshop in lilleshall with pavel tsatsouline offered the chance to learn more about the details of this topic and i enrolled a few months ago.
i was impressed how professional pavel presented the material in the workshop, having an open ear for every question of participants and answering all of them with great competence. i was pleased to have the opportunity to meet pavel macek from prague again, as well as sven from stuttgart, claire and david from the united kingdom, antje and jan from kiel. i will use the chance to register for that workshop together with the recertification tests for my sfg level 1 license after the main event. i mention this here because after passing and therefore renewing my license and a few days of lighter training i have started preparations for my next goal, the sfg level 2 certification.
